On Tuesday, July 22, 2003 my wife (Michelle) and I had our first conversation through Match.com, an internet dating site (I thought: "Will she be the one?"). Two days later, we talked on the phone for the first time ("Wow...this is looking good"). Nine days after that we met face to face in Houston ("This could be love!"). On December 7, 2003 we were married! Life has moved rapidly for us since the day we met. The story is unfolding even more beautifully than we ever could have imagined. In the Divine scope of things, we know that our marriage, as amazing as it came together, is only a part of God's orchestrating work to give us what we needed to prepare us to find our authentic life, calling and purpose.

Our marriage, to me, is a beautiful picture of God's Love with skin on it. It has helped me touch and connect to what LOVE is all about. Through our marriage, Love has redefined trust that was lost from past relationships; helped me embrace a deeper understanding of true forgiveness; given me freedom to let go of my past shameful choices; regained my belief in real Love again; helped me to honor the God-given passions of my heart; allowed me to release the judgments I once had for myself and others and shown me the unconditional Love of God. The Love we have together has become the compelling energy force for our relationship to each other, and from which we learn and live toward others. This adventurous journey, continues to teach us lessons in life that we could have never learned without each other, sharing life together.
